Old Yellow Nail Problem - Nixsi

If you like dark nail polish hues, you will find that once you take it off, the color of your nails looks somewhat yellow instead of milky white. If that is your problem, you need to make sure to follow steps provided below to bring them back to their original beautiful color. You need to be persistent however.

Baking Soda and Peroxide

Mix two and a half tablespoons of Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) with one tablespoon of Hydrogen Peroxide and make a paste. One the paste is obtained, use cotton swabs to apply that paste over your nails. Do it daily, leaving the paste over the nails for at least two to three minutes. Wash with the paste with warm water afterwards. If daily application seems hard to manage, do it every other day.

Lemon Juice

Don’t want to use peroxide? Replace the Hydrogen Peroxide with pure lemon juice. If you are using lemon juice instead however, you will have to make it a part of your daily routine rather than applying it on alternative days because lemon will take more time than Hydrogen Peroxide.

Apart from nails that are regularly polished, this treatment will also work on nails gone yellow from smoking.

But remember that this method is to fend the yellow color off your nails. If you need to make them look beautiful 360, consider soaking, massaging, moisturizing and pumicing as well. Not only will these make your feet beautiful, they will also make you feet stress-free.
